Lisa May
Lisa May studied Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design where Illustration became the focal point of her artistic desires. She worked as a knitwear designer for four design houses before moving to Vermont in 1992. Lisa is drawn to the pastel medium for it's richness and depth of color. It has a variety of textures well suited for painting the images that inspire her. She finds Vermont to be an endless sourse of inspiration. Lisa's work can be seen at the Southern Vermont Arts Center as well as at Redux Gallery (Dorset,Vt.)
