Lynette D. Carsten
Lynette Carsten received her B.A. in Art from the Univ. of Arkansas and a Master of Library Science from the Univ. of Oklahoma. During the 1980’s she primarily worked on spiritual art for churches and individuals. Her current work ranges from very detailed representational pieces often of animals or flowers to abstracts. A piece by her is included in the 2005 Vermont Artist Calendar - A Celebration of Excellence. Lynette enjoys using a variety of mediums but recently has been focusing on oil pastel and colored pencil. She participates in national and regional competitions and has work in galleries in Vermont and New Hampshire.
