Barbara Bellows
Barbara is a professional landscape and figurative painter. She studied art at the Lyme Art Academy in Connecticut, Plymouth State University and Lebanon College, AVA Gallery in NH and at artists' workshops including two with Doug Dawson. She has exhibited her work in galleries and numerous solo shows since 1983; her paintings can be found in collections in the United States, Europe, Central America, and Canada.
Barbara teaches art at Lebanon College, Lebanon, NH. She was the head of the Arts department from 1999 through 2004, resigning to allow more time for painting.. She also gives lessons to children and adults in her own studio.
