Karen Baker, CPS PSA
Contemporary Impressionist Karen Baker CPS, PSA is an award-winning landscape and floral artist. The focus of her paintings is the ever-changing landscape in all seasons as well as favorite garden blooms and wildflowers. Her work, particularly the Poppy Series, which now numbers over 160 paintings, has gained her recognition with collectors throughout the United States and abroad. Along with her affiliation with VPS, she is a member of Pastel Society of Tampa Bay and a signature member of both the Connecticut Pastel Society and Pastel Society of America.
She exhibits regularly in national art shows and is represented in Vermont by Young Constantin Gallery, Wilmington, and Gallery at the VAULT, Springfield. In addition, she shows in Wellseley, MA, at AZ Fine Arts Gallery, and in galleries and art venues in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, where she also teaches ongoing classes in pastel and the creative process.
Karen Baker often conducts seasonal workshops in plein air painting in Vermont and Florida.
